Thinking of You

I feel some force is driving me.Cant stop this force /destiny that is drawing me closer. The more you concentrate on a person , the more the world around you forces it energy , so that your paths meet. You create a rift in time space that affects your surroundings.

Why I say this. Have you  ever had a person whether it be a close friend or family member in your thoughts, and have them call you or email soon after. Well this has happened to me on occasion , but over the last two weeks  it has happened over three times with three different people which makes me wonder.  Maybe you do send out some psychic signals subconsciously that gets received or maybe you can label it as coincidence but I believe it is more.

This is not just for email and phone also but also running into people.  I don’t know if its  just fate or just a small world.

The Wonder Years

Beach Time Clock

Wow time is just flying and will continue to do so.  Already we are going to be half way through the  2008 year  and I don’t know where all that time went. As in the words of Ferris Bueller, “ Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it.”

I have been reminiscing as always about time. Seems like yesterday we were in middle school, that innocent time with many memories and not a care in the world. High School comes along which zips by with fun and memories and we start looking at careers and majors near the end. College also goes by with the short semesters and we say to our self can’t wait to graduate and get into the real world with no more homework and more free time.

Haha now that it will be about two years since graduation and being in the real  world. It has been common agreement between alot of friends that you end up actually having more free time when we were in college. Of course also the basis of real life;  bills , bills and more bills hits us.  When you work that 8-5 Monday through Friday shift with commute and errands not much time  on the weekdays and of course the weekends fly by fast and the cycle repeats again.  Seems friends and collegues all all going different paths  and goals, various companies , work schedules, some going for higher education , switching majors.  Keeping in touch gets harder to do.

With everyone getting caught up in this rat race  working 24 hours ,running after money  trying to fulfill material needs that still won’t fill the void inside , and having life pass them by. I try to take a step back and actually  look around. As all great philosophers have  pondered , I also try to deduce what is the meaning of life.  The more you try to look , the more open ended it becomes.  While I may still not have an answer  , You realize to enjoy the little things in life with work taking up a major portion of life.  The few moments we get to share with friends and family .   To smell the roses on a walk , to enjoy the good weather , smile often,  reach out to others, be a kid again for a day :). Life will always and continue be hectic , but be sure to enjoy the moments you have or it will pass you by.

In Another life time

I know what it could have been
Maybe in another reality, we were meant to be
In that point in time, your heart would be mine
maybe in that place where dreams come true
my world would have been complete and I would have had you
but as fate would have it so we could not see
how two seperate lives were to be our destiny

[Poem inspired by two movies above Lost In Translation (2003) & Chandranudikkunna Dikhil (1999) ]

First Sight

First  Sight

From the first time I looked into those eyes , shining like the north star in the night sky

From that very moment in time , I knew my soul was complete in this journey called life

What I was searching for through  low and high ,  was now in front of my eyes

Through those eyes shined heavens door ,  nothing my heart wanted more

Than to be with you for the rest of my life , waking each morning with you by my side.

Life

A grain in a larger beach of sand. Leaving our mark in the vast crevices of time.  Many have come before and many will come after. Time slips away, the hour glass is falling with every minute that comes and goes. If you are reading these words which were left at one point in time, one in a million along your journey. Take every moment as it passes , stop and listen , look at your surround , enjoy the journey not the destination.  Do not be swept by hectic life and environment that society puts us in and caught in the rush. Break free from the chain. Grasp the present firmly in the grips of your hand and do not let it slip away.
